Erich Louis Wolpers, Jr, was the son of Erich Louis Wollpers, Sr. and Dottie Mae (Hill) Wolpers. He served in the US Army Reserves from 1962 to 1969. On August 13, 1966 he married Mary Ann Dobson in Sulphur Springs, Missouri. He was employed with Square D, now Schneider Electric, in Columbia for nearly twenty years and had also worked in residential construction and electrical contracting. He was the current building inspector for the City of New Franklin and president of the Clark's Chapel Cemetery Association. He had also served on the former Booneslick Volunteer Fire Department. He loved the outdoors. A favorite hobby was baking and sharing cookies with others. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles Ray and Mary Frances Golden Dobson; sister-in-law, Donna Colvin and husband, Joseph; nephew, Barry Joe Ratliff and niece-in-law, Kimberly Dobson. He is survived by his wife, his daughter, his sister, five nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews, two great-great nieces; a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law.
