WALTER W. CHADBOURNE
Age 103, of North Palm Beach passed away Saturday, October 5, 2002. Walter was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie Chadbourne; and his stepdaughter, Martha Goodwin. Mr. Chadbourne served in the U.S. Army during W.W.I, and was a professor at the University of Maine. He then became the Chief Economist of Hercules, Inc. in Wilmington, DE.
Survivors include his stepson, Bill Ferry and wife, Scottie, of Guilford, NH; five grandchildren: Chad Ferry, Taylor (Ray) Hindle, Marjorie Goodwin, Sara Goodwin, and Andy Goodwin; and one great-grandchild, Ray Hindle, III.
A memorial service was held Thursday, October 10, 2002 at TAYLOR & MODEEN FUNERAL HOME, 250 Center Street, Jupiter. Inurnment at Riverside Cemetery, Orono, Maine.
