ALBIN GREGOIRE
Albin J. Gregoire, 82, formerly of W613 Highway 149, town of New Holstein, died Tuesday afternoon at St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee.
Mr. Gregoire was born December 7, 1903, in St. Anna, son of Nicholas and Mary Meyer Gregoire. He attended Catholic Schools at St. Anna. On June 1, 1926, he married the former Irene Nett at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. The couple farmed in the town of Russell until 1942. They farmed in the Town of new Holstein until retiring in 1965. Mrs. Gregoire died in 1983. Mr. Gregoire was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel, its Holy Name Society, Catholic Knights and Kiel Senior Citizens.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Janet) Yaniak of Milwaukee; one son, Leroy of Minneapolis, Minnesota; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Howard and Mrs. Cyrilla Ernst, both of Irving, Texas, Mrs. Araya Murphy of Florida and Mrs. Marina Escher of New Holstein; and one brother, Edmund also of New Holstein. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
A concelebrated funeral Mass was held at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. The Rev. Frank J. Yaniak and the Rev. Daniel E. Yaniak were celebrants of the Mass. Burial was in the church cemetery.
