Tim K. Spence a life long native of Mobile died November 8, 2013 surrounded by family at Mobile Infirmary Hospital.
He was an avid Nascar and Alabama football fan. In his younger days he was a race car driver of the #83 car at Citronelle Race Track, winning 1st place in his best race. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend.
Mr. Spence was preceded in death by his beloved and precious daughter Ms. Kelly T. Spence and his parents TJ Spence & Mrs. Beatrice Howell-Spence.
His survivors include his loving, caring and devoted wife of 39 yrs. MaryAnn Collier-Spence two loving sons Bruce Spence(Shelley) & Wade Spence(Amy) two honorary sons Russell Smith & Patrick Walker, four sisters Joyce Manus, Melba Sharpe, Linda Schneider, Cheryl Brinkman (Johnny) two brothers Doyle Spence (Nancy), Kenny Spence (Peggy) and many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews six grandchildren 1 great grandchild and his canine buddy Stinky and grandpuppy Freckles. Mr. Spence was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday November 13, 2013. Visitation will be at Pine Crest funeral home off of Dauphin Island Pkwy from 5p.m-8 p.m. On Tuesday November 12, 2013.
We would like to express our thanks to Mobile Infirmary Hospital especially the nurses of the SICU unit for their kindness and loving care, Dr. Damrich and Dr. Crowder and to all of the others nurses and doctors that assisted in with Mr. Spence's care. We would also like to thank our church family & Father Sophie of Our Lady of Lourdes and Forest Park Bible Church especially Mrs. Arlis Lange and William & Donna Lange our son Wade and daughter in law Amy's Church family.
