Uncle George was the husband of Mary Belinda Best. He is buried near his nephew, James Penndleton Hill and some of his children. Emma Sasser (Mrs. Calvin Sasser) and Viola Hill. His daughter, Charity is also buried there, along with some of his grandchildren. George was the son of Joel Hill, Jr. and Elizabeth Ann Soules Hill. George was a Hard Worker and studied much of his childhood, becoming a minister when he was quite young and after he retired from the ministry, a school teacher.
