Jerry Wayne Furr, 57, passed away at McGuire VA Medical Center on Wednesday, April 7, 2004.
Mr. Furr was a native of Moore County, North Carolina, a resident of Kenbridge, Virginia, and was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
Mr. Furr was preceded in death by his first wife, Kathy Marie Summerford Furr.
Survivors include two daughters, Paula M. Furr of Richmond and Audrey L. Furr of Kenbridge; one son, Keith W. Furr of Kenbridge; one grandson, Corey Cox of Richmond; one sister, Doris Furr Craven of Graham, North Carolina; two brothers, William Reid 'Billy' Furr of Pinebluff, North Carolina and Daniel 'Danny' Furr of Vass, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, at Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Monday in Hampton Memorial Gardens.
