Elaine was predeceased by her parents, Paul and Achsa Snavely; husband of 44 years, Richard "Dick" Ellis; sisters, Grace, Betty, Marie, and Jan; brothers, Jim and Ernie. Elaine is survived by her children, Joyce (Stephen) Short of Owego, Kevin (Suzanne) Ellis of Newark Valley, Geren (Debbie) Ellis of Great Bend, PA, and Jo-Ann (Skip) Burlingame of Binghamton; lifelong best friend, Jeanette Bailey; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; brothers, Richard Snavely of Newark Valley, Frank (Barb) Snavely of Newark Valley, Bob Snavely of LA, and Ken (Shirley) Snavely; along with several nieces and nephews. Elaine enjoyed being social and spending time with her family and friends. She crocheted blankets for her family and friends.
