Tommy (Tom) Alvin Banks, 48, of Roberts, Idaho, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013. Tom was born Sept. 12, 1965, in Salmon, Idaho, to Tommy Glen Banks and Florence Ilene Hutchison Banks. He lived in Boise, Jackson, Wyo., Roberts, Alaska and most recently in Salt Lake City. In May 1987, he married Matilda McClane. They later divorced. He later married Sammantha Jones, and they divorced. Tom worked as an auto mechanic and in auto sales. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles, and spending time with his grandchildren. Tom is survived by son, Bobby L Banks of Roberts; mother, Ilene H. (Gardner) Bacon of Roberts; father, Tommy Glen Banks of Wasilla, Alaska; brother, Tushar Bacon of Ammon; sisters, Melissa L Banks of Kearns, Utah, Ragini Bacon of Salt Lake City, Kortinee M. Bacon of Roberts and Sabila R. Bacon of Salt Lake City; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, TJ Banks. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Challis Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N.
