Lois Snyder Payne age 89 passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 14, at the chapel of Moores Funeral Home with Rev. Beverly McLaren officiating. Burial will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery in Washington County.
Mrs. Payne was a native of Washington County and lived in Macon for many years before moving to Milledgeville. She worked for First National Bank in Macon for many years and was a retired employee of Central State Hospital. She was former President of the PBX Club and a member of Southside Methodist Church in Macon. She was preceded in death by her parents Cleveland L. and Annie Osborne Snyder, a son John Snyder.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Moores Funeral Home.
