Services will be held Saturday for Philip Howard Baublit, 68, of Fredericksburg who passed away Oct. 18 in the V.A. Medical Center. Rev. W.N. Perkins and Rev. C.E. Smith will officiate at 10 a.m. services in the Assembly of God Church and interment will follow in the Garden of Memories. He was born February 11, 1916, in Rogers, Arkansas. He had lived in Fredericksburg for seven years and was a prior resident of Kerrville. He married Maurine Ersch on December 17, 1942, in Camp Normoyle, and had spent his life as a Minister and was of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors: wife; Mrs. Maurine Rose Baublit of Fredericksburg; three daughters; Rosalie Ann Cook of Austin, Evelyn Irene Massey of Kerrville, and Eunavae Marie Holt of Fredericksburg; two sons; Dayton LeRoy Baublit of Kerrville and Rev. Roger William Baublit of San Benito; three sisters; Josephine Kainz of Rogers, Ark., Ella Kainz of Ontario, Calif, and Mae Henley of Walla Walla, Wash.; one brother; Herbert Baublit of Poteau, Okla.; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels.
