Mrs. Redding was born in Macon and was the daughter of the late Frances Arnold McCallum and Robert A. McCallum, Sr. She was a dedicated homemaker, loving and faithful wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Redding cherished her Christian friends, including many who knew her as a regular walker at the Macon Mall, alongside her husband Blanton and daughters. Her faithful service to her church, Lizella Baptist, extended over the entire span of her marriage of 54 years. Mrs. Redding was especially dedicated to supplying all known needs of the happiness and wellbeing of her daughters and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother: Robert McCallum, Jr.
Mrs. Redding is survived by her loving husband: William Blanton Redding of Lizella; daughters: Wendi (Michael) Strange and Tracey (David) Jackson both of Macon; grandchildren: Emily and Haley Strange and Caroline and William Jackson; sister: Christine (Ralph) Ledden of Lizella.
