She lived at Friend until 10 years of age, when she moved with her parents to Hardy, Neb. Here she lived until she was married to Joseph Svec May 29, 1914. To this union were born three sons and two daughters, Archie L., Earl J., Clarence R., Irene G. and Angeline G.
The family moved to Exeter about twelve years ago, and Mrs. Svec became well and favorably known in the community as a friend to all, a faithful wife and devoted mother. She suffered a great deal during the last few months, but endured all with wonderful patience until her Maker said, "It is enough" and she quietly passed into the Great Beyond.
She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, five children, five sisters and four brothers and many other relatives and friends.
The funeral service was conducted by Rev. A. E. Bashford at the Congregational Church Tuesday afternoon. Interment was in the Exeter Cemetery.
