Mr Albair was an active business man and farmer, potato shipper and broker in Caribou for many years. He was a former director of Peo Production Credit. In 1955 he retired after 35 years of active farming. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Caribou.
On June 28, 1958, he married the former Leona Thibodeau of Caribou and she survives him. Other survivors include three sons, Gilman of Bristol, CT, Bernard of St Louis, MO, and Harold of Caribou; one step-daughter, Mrs. Roger (Rita) Lambert of Biddeford; two brothers, Thomas of Limestone and Henry of Portland, OR; two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Soucy of Plainville, CT and Ann Albair of Caribou; 16 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the Rev. Romeo St. Pierre, pastor, officiating at a Mass of Christian burial. Interment was at the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Caribou.
