Jonathan "Paul" Kelly, age 82, of High Point, went home to be with the Lord on, October 29, 2012. He was born in St. Paul, NC on October 12, 1930 to Andrew Jackson Kelly and Carrie Lee Blackburn Kelly. Paul served in the Air Force before he met and married his wife Lucy F. Kennedy.

Survivors include his wife, Lucy Kennedy Kelly; daughter Debbie Kelly; son Mike Kelly; son Brian Kelly; grandchildren Jeanie Heath, Vanessa Chambers, Michael Kelly, and Daniel Kelly; great grandchildren Taylor Nguyen and Wyatt Chambers.

Paul was loved by many. His charming and quick wits always left you laughing and smiling. You always had a friend in Paul Kelly. He left a legacy of strong, faithful, loving values. He would spend his time with family and friends. He always loved a good round of golf. He loved to read and quote the bible. His last days he said he was blessed and that he will see all his love ones in the rapture. Come celebrate his full life with us.

A funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00pm before the service.
