Patricia A. Hilbert, 71 years, of Bryan, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Community Hospitals and Wellness Center, Bryan. Pat was born January 13, 1942 the daughter of the late William Clifford and Lillian S. (Stephen) Reeves. She was a 1960 graduate of Olympus High School, Salt Lake city, Utah. She married Dr. Robert D. Hilbert on August 10, 1972. Pat was the office manager for her husband's optical practice. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she was active in the ministry which made prayer shawls. Pat was very active in the community. She was a charter member of the Bryan Lioness Club where she served as an officer, the Progress Club, Taine Club, Red Hat Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Doll Collectors Club. Pat was an excellent seamstress and she enjoyed sewing, knitting and the CAT Sheba.
Surviving is her husband, Dr. Robert D. Hilbert of Bryan; one son, David (Cathy) Liedtke of Stryker; two daughters, Becky Thompson of Bryan and Marta (Lynn) Witte of Wheaton, Illinois; five grandchildren, Greg (Jessica) Liedtke of Mt. Cory, Ohio, Brooke Liedtke of Stryker, and her fiancé Brett Miller of Bryan, Sarah (Jeremy) Dauber of Bryan, Emily (Dan) Kurowski of Lombard, Illinois and Grant Witte of Wheaton, Illinois; five great-grandchildren, Kace Liedtke, Drew and Kai Dauber, Laurel and Leo Kurowski; one sister, Elizabeth (Doug) Lipsey of Gatesville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her sister, Susan Kay Biliter, and son-in-law, James Thompson
Visitation for Patricia A. Hilbert will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 206 North Lynn Street, Bryan. The Bryan Lioness Club will conduct a brief service at 7:45 p.m. Wednesday evening in the funeral home. Funeral services for Patricia A. Hilbert will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14, 2013 in Wesley United Methodist Church 903 Center Street, Bryan, with Rev. Jeffrey A. Motter and Rev. Becky Schofield Motter officiating. Interment will follow in Lost Creek Cemetery, near Farmer, Ohio.
