Linda Lee (Smith) Gibbs was born on September 21, 1937 in Stewart County, Tennessee, the daughter of Samuel Eugene Smith and Irene (Howell) Smith.
She was married to William Lawrence "Lonzo" Gibbs (1935–2013), and he was the son of William James Gibbs (1907–1996) and his wife Ruth Louise (Wills) Gibbs (1903–1986).
Along with her husband, Linda operated Lonzo's Restaurant in Ashland City, Cheatham County, Tennessee and also helped in the operation of other restaurants including Three Brothers Pancake House, G & T Pancake House, Lonzo's the Bounty, Jiffy Burger and the Busy Bee.
Living at 312 Locust Road, Linda was 53 years old and married when she died February 22, 1991 at home after a long illness.
Survivors included her husband in Clarksville, her mother of Erin, Tennessee, a son and a daughter in Clarksville, brother Rudy Smith and sister Joan Smith at Erin and a grandchild.
Funeral Services were held on February 24th at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, and burial was in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Clarksville.
