MILWAUKEE, Wis., April 8. -
Samuel D. Luscombe, an old resident of Milwaukee and father of Attorney Robert Luscombe, died at noon today, after a long illness.
Mr. Luscombe was 76 years old, having been born in Holly, Franklin county, Mass., in 1822. He came to Milwaukee in 1843 and in 1855 he became associated win the lumber business with R.W. Pierce, and this partnership continued for several years.
Mr. Luscombe is survived by a widow and three children, including Robert Luscombe and two daughters, Mrs. George Wright and Mrs. Nellie M. Sanger.
He was considered a wealthy man and his estate is estimated to be worth $500,000.
