WEATHERFORD - Kathleen Josephine Goins, 71, a homemaker, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2000, after a lengthy illness, at a local hospital.
Memorial service: was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church of Mineral Wells. Pastor Bill Hendricks officiated.
Kathleen Goins was born Jan. 15, 1929, in Lawton, W.Va., and was a 15-year resident of Weatherford. She was preceded in death in 1977 by her husband of 25 years, Ira Gilbert Goins, in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Survivors: Sons, Michael Goins of White Settlement, Rodney Goins and his wife, Cheryl of Rapid City, S.D., and Steven Goins of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandchildren, Jennifer Goins Wilson of Baltimore, Md., Charles Goins of White Settlement and Christopher Goins and Catrina Goins, both of Rapid City, S.D.; and sisters, Gertie Dotson of Jonesville, Va., Betty Kendrick of Mineral Wells, Patty Taylor of Newport News, Va.
