Cathy L. Chandler, 45, of Colorado Springs, CO, went to join her Lord on April 12, 2004, after a brief illness.

She was born in Charleston on March 22, 1959, to Otis W. Blaisdell and the late Edna M. Blaisdell. Cathy attended Owens State College in Toledo, Ohio. She was formerly employed at Charleston General Hospital; as senior cost accountant at Hunt-Wesson Corp., Rossford, Ohio; and at Youth Ventures Inc. in Colorado Springs, Colo. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

In addition to her father, Cathy is survived by her husband, Stan W. Chandler of Colorado Springs; brother, Paul W. Blaisdell, and sister, Pamela G. Jackson, both of Charleston. Special to Cathy were her nephews and nieces, Aaron and Sarah Jackson and Megan and Matthew Blaisdell. May they grow up knowing they have an angel watching over them.

A Christian Service celebrating Cathy's life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Snodgrass Funeral Home, South Charleston. Services will be led by Pastor Chris Long of the Springs Tabernacle in Colorado Springs, Colo. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Family and friends will fellowship for 30 minutes prior to the start of the service.
