Raleigh - Susan T. Harper, 70, of Raleigh, passed away peacefully Sunday after a short illness.

Susan was born to the late John B. and Mildred D. Truncer, Dec. 3, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Lee H. Edwards High School in Asheville, NC, in 1960. She was a nursing student at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC, and attended classes at Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.

Susan had 19 years of progressive experience in mortgage lending. She worked with the NC Department of Labor, OSHA Division, for the past 18 years.

Susan was a member of Grace Community Church. She loved her family, her grandchildren, travel, decorating, researching genealogy, and spending time at the beach.

Susan is survived by her daughter and her husband, her son, her sister and her husband, and her brother and his wife. She also is survived by her grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and their children.
