"Mrs. Susie A. Cecil Dies of Brief Illness --- Mrs. Susie A. Cecil, 75, long a resident of Sacramento, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Myrtle B. White, 2022 E Street, after an illness of two weeks. She was the widow of John R. Cecil, who died here about twenty years ago.

"The funeral will be conducted Friday afternoon at the W. F.. Gormley chapel, followed by interment at the East Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Sherman L. Divine will officiate and Columbus Chapter No. 117, Order of Eastern Star, of which Mrs. Cecil was a member, will conduct the graveside rites.

"Mrs. Cecil was a native of Gilroy. She also left two grandchildren, G. Cecil and Eldon H. White.

"Thomas Flynn, James Hilgrove, George Carey, Richard Cassel, William Bader and Fred Allen will act as pall bearers."
