Jim Franklin Lewis, age 91, of McKinney, Texas, passed away November 6, 2013, in McKinney. Jim was born November 24, 1921, in McKinney, Texas, to Ferry D. and Edna Lee (Davis) Lewis. He married Alma Jo (Joey) Bounds on May 16, 1942, in Yuma, Arizona. Jim proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was an aircraft mechanic and a member of Rhea's Mill Baptist Church.

He is survived by his nieces, Connie Parish and husband, Grant of Frisco, Texas and Kathy Yarbrough and husband, Robert of Plano, Texas; several great nieces and nephews; and several great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Linda Jean Lewis, wife, one sister, and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2013, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Saturday evening at the funeral home.
