Deceased Name: Jimmie Eloise Gray Lorentzen

Jimmie Eloise Gray Lorentzen, daughter of James and Violet Gray, 75, of Sun City, Ariz., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, February 19, 2007.

Jimmie was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to many. She was born November 8, 1931, in Arkansas, grew up in Denison, Texas and was a long-time resident of South Milwaukee, Wis. before moving to Sun City, Ariz. She married her Air Force sweetheart, Fritz of Perrin Field in 1954.

She was a graduate of Methodist School of Nursing in Dallas. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse and loved helping others.

Jimmie was active in the American Lutheran Church and was elected the first woman President of Trinity Lutheran in South Milwaukee, Wis. She was dedicated to serving others. In addition to her work in the church, she was active in the RN Breakfast Club. She was an energetic member of Sew 'N Sew Club where she was appointed Head Monitor. She was a charter member of Parkside Baptist Church in Denison, Texas.

Jimmie is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Fritz; sons, Christopher of West Milwaukee, Wis. and Mark, wife, Robyn of Cudahy, Wis.; her sister, Billie Smith and husband, Cecil; brother, Roy Gray, all of Denison, Texas; sister-in-law, Gina Lorentzen of Greenfield, Wis.; nephews and nieces.

A memorial service to celebrate Jimmie's life was held at the American Lutheran Church in Sun City, Ariz. at 10 a.m. February 7, 2007, with a reception following.

In lieu of flowers, Jimmie has requested donations to American Lutheran Church Health Service or Parkside Baptist Church Benevolence Fund.
