He was employed at War Eagle Boats and was a Christian. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was an avid reader and loved getting together with his family.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Kimberly DeWoody Carnahan of Monticello; two daughters, Shaunda Wilcox of Fresno, CA and Brandi Boykin of Calera, AL; one son, Jeffery Hamilton of Fresno, CA; one brother, Dann Carnahan of Fresno, CA; two sisters, Lynda Wells of Selma, CA and Julie Carnahan of Fresno, CA; ten grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
