Willis J. "Dude" Barger, 86, of Parkville, Missouri passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at Riverside Nursing & Rehab Center in Riverside, Missouri.

He was born on April 11, 1927 in St. Joseph to John and Mable (Clark) Barger. Willis worked at Dugdale's as a Butcher and after his retirement he repaired and rebuilt antique furniture. He also enjoyed quail hunting and fishing.

Willis married Pauline Rae Caudle on February 23, 1957 in Hiawatha, Kansas. She survives of the home.

Additional surviving family includes daughters, Paula R. Gordon, of Parkville; Gloria J. Shepherd, of Colorado; brothers, William Barger, Elwood, Kansas; and Louis Barger, Wathena, KS; grandson, Jesse L. Gordon and several nieces and nephews.

Willis was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, John and Jess Barger, and sisters, Marie Smith and Molly Barger.

Mr. Barger has been cremated under the direction of Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. There will be no visitation or services.

Inurnment Iola Cemetery, Sparks, Kansas at a later date.
