Richard Eugene Amos, 54, of Rigby, Idaho passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 as result of an automobile accident.

He was born on August 17, 1959 in Fremont, California, the son of Glenn Richard and Audrey Bernice Pitts Amos.

Richard lived in Soda Springs most of the time but had moved to Rigby, Idaho to be closer to his kids.

He worked construction and could do anything and everything.

He liked fishing, hunting, camping but most of all loved spending time with his kids and family and friends.

He is survived by five daughters and two sons, Trinity and Jon Dunkin of Anchorage, Alaska, Courtney and David Rodgers of Wasilla Alaska, Crystal Ann Teague of Rigby, ID, Cara Teague of Rigby, ID, Catelyn Amos of Rigby, ID, Tyson and Lindsey Amos of Afton, WY, Tanner Rider of Rigby, ID. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, his father Glenn and Joanne Amos of Gerber, CA, a sister, Rhonda and Doug Trosper of Soda Springs, ID, and two brothers, Mikel and Vicki Morrow of Soda Springs, ID, Richard Dabel.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Noon at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs. The family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home prior to services.
