Preceded in death by parents, Lee and Ollie Tharp; sisters, Mable Tharp and Pearlie Muncey; brothers, Esky Tharp, and John Tharp. Survived by sister, Lucille Chesney, Inez Brown, Ella Blankenship; brother, Dewey (Zola) Tharpe; several nieces and nephews, including special niece and caregiver, Deborah Thorpe; special great nephew, Shane Murphy. Family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday with funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. in Cooke Chapel. Reverend Richard Nicley and Reverend Darrell Williams officiating.
