Raymond L. Fox, 79, of Cincinnatus, NY, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013, at the Chase Memorial Nursing Home, New Berlin, NY, following an extended illness.

Born in Cincinnatus, NY on June 7, 1934, Ray was a son of the late Casper and Lepha Perkins Fox. He resided in Cincinnatus for his entire life where he owned and operated a dairy farm on Fox Road, until his recent retirement. Ray was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who had a lifelong passion for his family and farming. He enjoyed the outdoors and when he wasn't working his farmland, he would often spend his spare time hunting and trapping. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Ford, of GA, Tammy Fox of Little York, and Jeffrey Fox of Cincinnatus; his grandchildren, Ashley Wilkins, Vicky Ford, and Sarah Cross; and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers, Robert of Dryden, and Ward and Howard, both of Cincinnatus; his sisters, Marjorie Kyle of Homer, and Helen Fosgate of Mexico; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his wife, Charlene Pratt Fox, on June 14, 2013, and a sister, June Christopher.

In keeping with the wishes of the family, private graveside services will be held at the Taylor Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Ray may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
