Laura "Louise" Alexander, age 95, of Plainfield, IL, passed away at 2:37 AM, Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital in Bolingbrook, IL.
Laura was born on July 7, 1918 in Harrisburg to the late Prince Albert and Frances (Feazel) Bryant. In 1961, she married Clarence Alexander and he preceded her in death.
Surviving family members include her daughter: Delores Hannah (Paul B.) Smith; three grandsons: Paul Jeffrey Smith, Brett DeChaine Smith and Garrett Barton (Tomoko) Smith; twin granddaughters: Tia and Grace; niece: Patricia Louise (Don) Rister; great niece: Denise (Michael) Higgens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Clarence Alexander, brother: Jack Bryant, sister: Laverne Bryant, and niece: Deanna Harrison.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Reed Funeral Chapel in Harrisburg. Rev. Scott Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM, Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Reed Funeral Chapel.
