Christine K. Lewis, 42, of Charlotte, died November 7, 2013 at Eaton Community Palliative Care. Christine was born March 19, 1971 in Charlotte to Paul and Barbara (Mathias) Lewis. She graduated from Olivet High School and Ross Medical. She worked as a medical assistant and a phlebotomist. She was an avid music lover, loved Facebooking, but most of all, spending time with her family and friends, especially her Granddaughter.
Christine is survived by her sons, Matthew Lewis, Jacob Jones and Brandon Depue; a granddaughter, Sophia Lewis; a sister, Debbie Massimino, a brother Terry Duncan; Uncles, Jake (Mary) Mathias and Jim (Mary) Mathias; an aunt, Phyllis (Bill) Rhoades; Nephews, Joshua, Cameron and Easton Massimino and a niece, Stephanie Massimino. Christine is survived by numerous cousins and her very special soul mate Tom Cortez.
Christine was preceded in death by her parents, a grandmother, Gladys Mathias and several aunts, uncles and her special cousin, Irv Bursley. Christine will be remembered for her kind heart, her generous personality, and her great sense of humor.
Visitation will be Monday, November 11, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the Farley-Estes & Dowdle Funeral Home, where funeral services to celebrate her life will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 12.
