Edwin L. Cramer was born in the town of Stockholm on January 24, 1865, one of the 14 children of Adam and Mercy Chase Cramer. He lived most of his life in Stockholm, where he was a farmer. He married Anna Joynt of Newington, Ontario, Canada on March 31, 1894 and they had a daughter, Lillian Cramer.
Edwin died on July 11, 1933 after an illness of two weeks. He was the last of his 14 siblings, but was survived by his daughter. He lived with his daughter at the home of Charles Fallon for the last 8 years of his life.
