Mrs. Minnie M. Donaldson, 85, of 109 E Sixth, Oil City, died at 12:11p.m. Monday in the Oil City Area Health Center where she had been admitted April 8.
She was born in Nectarine, Oct. 30, 1906, a daughter of Joseph and Christine Coast McFadden, and moved from Nectarine to Oil City in 1926.
Mrs. Donaldson was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Oil City.
She married Feb 2, 1921, to Arnold S. Donaldson who died May 8, 1983.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William (Marie) Ward of Oil City; two grandchildren, Donald Ward of Oil City and Mrs. John (Debbie L) Best of Seneca; four great-grandchildren, Kevin and Kelly Ward of Oil City and Tara and Ty Best of Seneca; a brother, Glen McFadden of Nectarine; and a sister Mrs. Geraldine Hoffman of Grove City.
Friends will be received in the Louis H. Osenider Funeral Home, Oil City. Services will be held Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. Gail E. McQueen, pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church, Oil City, officiating.
Interment will follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
