Martha ‘Gail' (Basham) Colvin, 60, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Deaconess Gateway. Gail enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Colvin; son, Gary Thornton; father, George Basham; mother, Mildred Basham; stepmother, Edna Basham. Gail is survived by her sons, Donnie & Jason Thornton; sisters, Vicki Jones, Doris Sperry, Carolyn Basham and Sharon Dersch; brother, Larry Basham; stepchildren, Wendy Decorrevont, Melinda Decorrevont, Jeff Colvin; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Pearl Colvin. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2010, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Steve Boardman. Friends may visit Sunday from 1-6 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
