Bertha Ann George Peterson beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, died September 12, 1992 in a Salt Lake hospital from complications following a fall

Born October 11, 1911 in Kanosh, Utah, to Wesley and Eva Dorrity George. Married Arthur L Peterson January 4, 1933 in Castle Dale, Utah, solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She worked for many years in the Emery County Nursing Home. She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many capacities including former Primary teacher and president. She was currently a vising teacher. She enjoyed participation in Senior Citizen activities and band. She had a great capacity to love and be loved. She was fondly referred to as Mom, Auntie Bert, Grandma Pete, or Grandma Great by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, son, George, and grandson, Artie Bryan.

She is survived by her son, Don Peterson and his wife Annette, Salt Lake City, her daughter, Ellen Bryan and her husband Jerry of Sandy, her son, George Peterson's wife Dora, Tremonton, 15 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, and many much loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 1992, at the Ferron Stake Center, where viewing will be held two hours prior to services. Funeral directors, Fausett Mortuary.
