James Aitcheson, Sr., 70, a former Deer Creek resident, passed away at the Lutheran Deaconess Hospital in Minneapolis, Thursday March 4th from a heart attack. He had been in the hospital two weeks.
He was born November 15, 1900 at Clear Lake, Iowa. He and his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. J.K. Aitcheson moved to the farm north of Deer Creek, now owned by Edgar Boehne, in 1919. He had lived in Minneapolis the past several years where he worked in the carpentry trade.
Funeral services were held Monday March 8th in Minneapolis with burial in the Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
He is survived by three children, Amy Lou Aitcheson and Jimmy Aitcheson of Minneapolis and Mrs. Wayne Kerbs (Patty) of Los Alamitos, California, besides three grandchildren.
