In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Theresa Cooper; daughter, Shirley Treman; sister, Edna Carnley; and brother, Jerry Walter Cooper. He is survived by a son, Clinton Cooper Jr. of Bonifay, FL; a daughter, Mary Sue Deserior of Tampa, FL; 3 sisters, Gladys Galloway, Vitana Gordon and Lettie Collins and husband Wilford, all of Vernon, FL; 2 brothers, Leroy Cooper and wife Bonnie, and Leon Benjamin Cooper, both of Vernon, FL; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Apr 25, 2010 at Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Wesley Hall officiating. Interment followed in the Unity Baptist Church Cemetery in Vernon, Washington, FL with Peel Funeral Home of Bonifay, FL directing.
