Frank was a life resident of Syracuse and worked as a shoe cutter for Nettleton Shoes in Syracuse, New York. He retired in 1967 after 30 years of service. Frank was a member of the Loomis Sportsmen's club. Friends called him "Waxie" due to his ability at shuffleboard and his habit of waxing the board when losing
Frank is survived by his wife Marion Sehl a son; F. "Bud" Sehl of Cicero, two daughters; Elizabeth "Betty" Francey and Mary Alice Malay, both of Syracuse. A sister Mary Kostine of Syracuse, 15 grandchildren,12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. He was predeceased by his brothers Bum {Henry} Sehl and Bob Sehl who both ran restaurants. Bob owned the Darlene on lakeshore road, Oneida lake and the Loomis Grill on Burnet Ave. Syracuse, NY. Bum owned the Imperial Grill on Water and Warren Street Syracuse and ran a horse room [betting parlor]upstairs.
