Margaret J. Braskett, 99,
Burnettsville, died at 11:55 p.m.
Sunday at Turtle Creek Nursing
Home, Monticello.
She had been ill two years.
Born in Monticello May 23,
1874, she was the daughter of
Robert H. and Miranda Bishop
Perkins. She was married July
4, 1894, to Frank Braskett, who
died in 1953.
A Buraettsville resident since
1939, she was a member of
Burnettsville Baptist Church,
the War Mothers Club and the
Modern Priscilla Sewing Circle.
Survivors include two sons,
Robert M Crystal City, Mo.,
and Kenneth, Kokomo; five
grandchildren and 12 great-
grandchildren. One son and
five brothers and sisters
preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m.
Wednesday at the Burnettsville
Baptist Church, with the Rev.
Raymond Skelton officiating.
Burial will be in Davis
Cemetery near Burnettsville.
Friends may call at the Miller
Funeral Home after 4 p.m
Tuesday or at the church after
noon Wednesday.
