OBITUARY
MARTHA (MOLLY) G. CASE

ITHACA - Martha (Molly) G. Case, of 953 Dryden Road, Ithaca, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 7, 2007, at Lakeside Nursing Home in Ithaca.

Molly was born on February 10, 1916 in East Concord, New York to Marcus H. Lux and Mildred (Eddington) Lux. Molly was married to her loving husband, Harold V. Case, on November 16, 1939, who predeceased her on March 20, 1991.

Molly is survived by her daughter, Rosemary C. Blischke of Northridge, CA; her sons, Ronald (Joan) H. Case of Bradenton, FL, and Donald (Bonnie) V. Case of Horseshoe, NC; her granddaughter, Elizabeth A. Case of Burdett, NY; her grandson, Scott (Lisa) D. Blischke of Soldotna, AK; her granddaughter, Kelly S. Case of Ithaca, NY; her grandsons, Jeffrey (Trina) S. Case of Asheville, NC, and Timothy (Carolyn) M. Case of Asheville, NC. Molly is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Lois H. Case of Ithaca, NY; her great-granddaughters, Shayla M. and Hailey E. Blischke of Soldonta, AK; her brothers, Arthur (Delores) Lux of West Valley, NY, and Albert Lux of Fort Valley, GA; her sister, Maxine (Donald) Linton of Warwick, NY; many nieces and nephews, and very dear friends.

Molly was predeceased by 14 brothers and sisters, Edna Blakley, Doris Ivon, Thressa Lux, Pauline Zielenske, Florence Rothenberg, Harold, Floyd, Nicholas, Maurice, Gordon, Herbert, Clyde, Frank, and Marcus Lux.

Molly was a member of the Varna United Methodist Church for 64 years, where she helped put on many dinners. She was also a member of the Varna Community Center and Varna Senior Citizens. Her great joy was having her family for dinner on Sundays and Holidays.

Calling hours will be held at Bangs Funeral Home, 209 West Green Street in Ithaca on Thursday, September 13, 2007. The funeral service will be held at Varna United Methodist Church, 965 Dryden Road in Ithaca on Friday, September 14, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jacquie Lewis officiating.
