Jason Gross, 27, of 4022 North S.R. 3, Deputy, died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002, in Madison.

He was born April 18, 1975, in Madison, the son of Michael and Pamela Gross. He was baptized in the Madison New Testament Church.

Surviving are his father, of Milton, Ky.; his mother and stepfather, Pamela and Daryl Thornton, of Madison; two sisters, Jackie Gross of Hanover and Dawna Gross of Auburn, Wash.; his paternal grandmother, LaVern Gross of Madison; his maternal grandparents, Noble and Evelyn Graves of North Vernon; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Wilbur Gross; and one uncle.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton, with burial to be held at a later date in the Moffett Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Jason Gross Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
