Wanda Thea Wilhoite McCoy, 95, died November 5, 2013, in Little Rock, Arkansas.

She was born August 27, 1918 in Durant, Oklahoma, the youngest of five children to John and Alice (Rutledge) Wilhoite. Her parents and her four brothers - Roy, Ed, Earl and Blaine Wilhoite, preceded her in death.

In 1936, Wanda was married to Isaac Cheney McCoy, Jr., and they had three daughters who were her pride and joy – Georgia Ann McCoy Sells of Little Rock; Nina Kay McCoy Flynn of Dallas, TX; and Alice Marie McCoy of Little Rock. Ike passed away in 1994, but her daughters survive her. She also leaves behind her sister-n-law Ruth McCoy Crews, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.

Wanda lived a long life, and was blessed by the love of family and friends. She will forever be remembered for her good humor and spunk, her progressive and broad-minded outlook on life, and her open and accepting heart for all mankind.

The family wishes to thank the incredible team of healthcare professionals at Pleasant Valley Nursing and Rehab Center, along with Arkansas Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Wanda's church home, Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas.
