Funeral services for George L. Hogue, 86, of Big Spring, will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Nalley-Pickle Rosewood Chapel with burial in the Trinity Memorial Cemetery. Hogue died Wednesday at 8:20 a.m. In a Midland Hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1887 in Arkadelphia, Ark. and came to Midland in 1900. He was married to Virgie Mae Milstead on August 23, 1908. in Big Spring. He was a retired parts manager for the city of Corpus Christi moving to Big Spring in 1961 and to Midland three months ago. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, seven sons, including Virgil Rogue of Midland, one brother, including Emmitt Hogue of Big Spring, three sisters, 39 grandchildren, and 53 great-grandchildren.
