Mary Jane Scott, 66, of 4375 Weber River Drive was born Dec. 8, 1921 in North Loup, Nebraska to Henry and Phillipine Tuefel Lee and died Friday, Feb. 12, 1988 at the McKay-Dee Hospital.

She had graduated from North Loup, NE High School in 1938. She married Doane L. Scott Nov. 29, 1942 in Lincoln, NE. Mary retired from the Bon Marche in 1980 after 14 years of service.

She had lived in North Loup and Lincoln, NE; Pecos, TX; Shelburn, IN, Anderson, IN and had moved to Ogden in 1958. She had spent the last four winters in Arizona.

She was a member of the Bon Marches Employees Group and Allegro Motor Home club.

Survivors include her husband of Ogden; two sons; two grandchildren; one brother and three sisters, John Lee, Apache Junction, AZ; Louise Snyder, Edna Taylor, both of Denver, CO; Ruth Parr, Warshaw, IL.

Memorial services were held Monday at the Lindquist & Sons Colonial Chapel in Ogden with Pastor Linda Barnes of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation was under the direction of Lindquist Crematory. Lindquist & Sons Funeral Home, Ogden, were in charge of arrangements. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
