Hannah was born to English immigrants, Moses Cleveland (1620 - 1702) and Anne Winn Cleveland (1629 - 1682). Alternate maiden name spellings include Cleavland, Cleaveland, Clevland...

She married Thomas Henshaw in Woburn on Sep. 24, 1677. They had seven children, all born in Woburn:

1) Elizabeth, b. Jul. 30, 1678; d. Jun. 22, 1741 in Andover, MA. Married 1st John Mansur on Jun. 3, 1701 and 2nd Uriah Ballard on Oct. 18, 1712
2) Thomas, b. Nov. 17, 1680; d. Sep. 11, 1726. Married Mary Brooks on May 26, 1712
3) Hannah, b. May 21, 1683.
4) William, b. Nov. 25, 1685
5) Samuel, b. Mar 13, 1687/1688; d. Feb. 20, 1756. Married, late in life (1751), Mrs. Abigail Benjamin Remick
6) Ebenezer, b. Mar. 1, 1690/1691; d. Feb. 26, 1756
7) Joshua, b. Mar. 1, 1694/1695; d. Jan. 16, 1699/1700. Married Mary Sweetzer.

After Thomas' death, Hannah married as his third wife, Thomas Lepingwell, on May 28, 1706 (see, Snow-Estes Ancestry, 1939, p.241).

Hannah Lepingwell died in Woburn on Jan. 16, 1736/1737. She is presumed to be buried in the First Burial Ground, but her grave has not been found.

Sources: Massachusetts Vital Records. Note that the original record for her birth shows she was born in the 6th month of 1653. That was under the Julian Calendar, for which the year started in March. The 6th month was August. Her original death record shows she died on January 16, 1736-7.
