Mrs. Neta Rosa 65, a native and lifelong resident of Shandaken, died last week Thursday in the Kingston hospital.
Her funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Gormley Funeral
home in Phoenicia. Burial will be in the spring. Her body has
been placed in the vault at the Wiltwyck cemetery in Kingston.
Mrs. Rosa is survived by her husband, George Rosa of
Shandaken, two sons, Percy Rosa (Francis) of Shandaken and Victor Rosa (Della) of Delhi, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also surviving are two brothers, Charles White of Allaben and Percy (Amelia) White of Shandaken. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Rosa (Magdalena) of Bovina Center.
Born Oct. 31, 1896, in Shandaken, Mrs. Rosa was the daughter
of Jerry and Mary Hunmell White.
