Clara Manalene (Fluharty) Haught, 89, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday (Nov. 5, 2013) at her home in Fairview.

She was born Oct. 8, 1924, in Plum Run, daughter of the late Simon and Maggie (Parker) Fluharty.

Clara left this Earth to be reunited with her husband and best friend, James Howard "Huck" Haught, who preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 2003.

She was a member of Haught's Chapel United Methodist Church and retired from Phillips Lighting. She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daugh­ters, Carol Sue Haught of Asheboro, N.C., and her friend Glen Boyette, and Connie Haught of Fairview; one son, Glenn Haught and wife Brenda of Fairview; one daughter-in­law, Robin Haught of Barrackville; six grandchildren, Carl Haught, Jodi Cummins, Steve Moore and wife Shawna, Dana Haught, Whitney Slagle and husband Matt, and Abby Haught; eight great-grandchil­dren, Lauren and Evan Haught, Jonah Galanits, Landon Adams, Dyer Thomas, Kylie, Paige and Alex Slagle; and one great­great- grandchild, Brody Haught. She also was survived by a sis­ter, Ivy Tuttle; and one brother, Jim Fluharty and wife Linda.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Clara was preced­ed in death by one son, Fred Haught; nine siblings, Lloyd Fluharty, Georgie Toothman, Bill Fluharty, Elrey Fluharty, Kester Fluharty, Joe Fluharty, Clinton Fluharty, Nola Santee and Olive Tennant.

Friends and family may call at Domico Funeral Home, Curry Chapel, in Fairview, from 3 to 8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Randy Vincent officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery.

The family requests donations be made in Clara's name to Marion County Hospice Care, 1406 Country Club Road, Fairmont, WV 26554.
