Daniel Lee Siders, 71, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
He was born Dec. 27, 1941 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Virgil Siders and Bernice Sonner Siders.
He was a graduate of Wilmington College and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Europe.
Survivors include one brother; two sisters; and three nieces.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family on Saturday, Feb. 16 at the Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery, Taylorsville.
