Age 83, of Wilmington, DE, died peacefully at home on Monday, November 4, 2013.

Dolores was born on May 21, 1930, in Norristown, PA, daughter of the late Benedetto Bello, Sr., and Anna Labik Bello. As a child, she moved to Elkton, MD, and graduated from Elkton High School in 1947. Known by her classmates as "Peaches," she was an enthusiastic member of the softball and volleyball teams. She later moved to Wilmington, DE.

She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Lee Hill, and a sister, Theresa Elliott.

Dolores is survived by her sons, Joseph H. Hill (Frances) of Newark, DE, Michael A. Hill (Lisa) of Newark, DE, Robert L. Hill (James Symonds) of Wilmington, DE, and daughter, Lisa Hughes (Charles) of Wilmington, DE, two grandchildren, Anthony J. Hill of Newark, DE, and Jordan C. Hill of Virginia Beach, VA, and two step-grandchildren, Chad Hughes and Andrew Hughes of Wilmington, DE. She is also survived by her brothers, John Bello of Elkton, MD, Benedetto Bello, Jr., of Elkton, MD, sisters Jean Van Dyke of Pensacola, FL, and Rose Dunn of Wilmington, DE, and many nieces and nephews.

Dolores enjoyed the Three Little Bakers Dinner Theatre, Walt Disney World, numerous trips with the Women's Club, watching her son's horses win at racing, and taking cruises and traveling the country with her husband and their friends.

She had been a member of Zion United Methodist Church in Northeast, MD, and in recent years attended Holy Trinity (Old Swedes) Episcopal Church and was a long-time member of the Women's Club Delaware.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 1:00 p.m., at Holy Trinity (Old Swedes) Church, 606 Church Street, Wilmington. Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Women's Club Delaware, 504 S. Clayton Street, Wilmington, DE 19805.
