George is a son of Charles Walton Boynton and Lillie Ann Eggett - third of their eight children.
He married Doris Emma Butler on November 14, 1930. They became parents of three children: Charles, Leo, and MarJean.
George died at age 52 of heart failure caused by rheumatic heart disease.
