William Frederick Boeckenhaupt, 79, of Overland Park, KS, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his home from diabetic complications. The family will have a service at a later date at Leavenworth Nat'l Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association .
William was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and a ham radio operator for 61 years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Naciya. Survivors include his daughter, Debra McKemy; son-in-law, Brent McKemy; granddaughter, Patricia Warner; grandson, William Graves; and a granddaughter, Jordan McKemy.
